September 18 is the date for the break-up.

All ideas will be taken to the executive for discussion.

Rovers members are welcome to help the club next year by undertaking positions for the various junior and senior teams.

We are looking to invite those interested in a coach or manager's position to submit a letter expressing interest and experience, in writing to the Rover's executive. We look forward to notifying worthy applicants before next season.

The crowd was on mass to see the Division 1 Men put up a great fight in the Semi Final for Premier League.

It was a very physical encounter and the young players can be quite pleased with their effort for the game. Many of the older members of the team took the role of guide and mentor with an increase in work rate and command on the paddock of the team's movement to reduce the continual onslaught of the Granville Tigers.

It was a fantastic game to watch and I can't wait to see how we go for the rest of the season with the return of Gordon and Duane.

The Globe Hotel is hosting a State of Origin night Wednesday night, Sausage Sizzle and $2 pots until first score.

Following quite a successful season last year, with the J2 girls winning the Premiership and the Senior Men fighting it out to the bitter end in a one - nil loss. We are expecting BIG things in 2010. We have another long season ahead of us, so enjoy it as much as you can, be enthusiastic----It's contagious!!
